Aperol Spritz Big Orange 100th Birthday Party!!!

This year Aperol Spritz turns 100… and we are ALL invited to celebrate!!!!!!!!

This December I turn 30 eek (help), so naturally, eight months before the big day I have already started thinking about how I am going to celebrate this big milestone.

But lets face it, if my birthday only involves glitter balloons, a percy pig cake and some strawberry mojitos then I’m one happy girly!

However Aperol Spritz has put my birthday planning to absolute shame and I think its time I upped my game!

The delicious summery drinks company have making people happy all across the world for 100 hundred years. ONE HUNDRED. A century. I’ll let you take that in for a moment.

And to say they wanted to celebrate in style would be just a little bit of an understatement.

I was extremely excited to be invited to the first official launch night of their birthday celebrations last night, and took my partner in crime along with me for the fabulous ride.

For the next two weeks, Aperol Spritz will be celebrating their birthday and we are all invited to help them out. And trust me you are not going to want to miss out.

The incredible team have taken over the Electric Light Station in Shoreditch and have totally and utterly transformed the venue into a classic Italian Aperol Lido.

I felt like I was in a filmset. Everywhere my head turned there was something exciting and fabulous to see.

And just incase anybody forgot what colour Aperol Spritz is, every single detail of the party was an illuminous ORANGE. (I’m from Essex huns so felt right at home.)

This was Aperol’s big moment, and it was not going to let anyone forget it.

Lets start with the outside section…… for a moment I genuinely forgot I was in Shoreditch, and could have easily been living that dream Italian Alfresco life.

I don’t know about you, but I have never been to a party where there is a vibrant ORANGE pool, fit with a gigantic lilo shaped as an orange slice, next to a flowing orange waterfall. Fancy a ride? Sure, hop in one of their convertible vespas, which interior is actually a hot tub where you can take a million and one selfies whilst splashing around the bubbles.

So chill, so cool, so casual, so fun, so orange, SO BOUJEE.

Oh and don’t worry, if you have forgot your swimwear Aperol Spritz have got it covered, as there is a little beach hut offering you neon bright orange swimsuits and towels. I can’t cope.

Feeling hungry? Don’t stress, there’s a van serving delicious stone baked pizzas and you can eat them while reclining on a cute deck chair.

A total Italian Heaven in the middle of Shoreditch.

And if you thought the outside was fun, you aint seen nothing yet!

When you step inside the giant warehouse I will put all of my life savings on the fact that your JAW WILL DROP.

Shall we start with the revolving carousel bar? Yes I said that correct, No this is not a joke, the bar moves. I KNOW.

If getting dizzy whilst getting drunk isn’t really your thang then you can always take a seat in their hot air balloon. Or just immerse yourself in the Aperol Spritz champagne glass-shaped ball pit with friends. Sure.

All whilst a DJ pumps out house music and gets you in that party vibe.

It goes without saying that everywhere your head turns the delicious orange drink is never far away, and the wonderful staff made sure we were topped up all night.
